  • September 25Sporting Events: Students 17 years old and younger without a BHS ID must be accompanied by an adult.
  • September 25Sporting Event Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at GoFan (see Athletics on the BHS website) or at the door/gate by using a credit card.
  • September 25Saturday (9/28): B-Mountain Painting: BHS seniors who turned in a permission slip: 7:15am at the BHS gym
  • September 25Saturday (9/28): Senior Sunrise: All BHS seniors are ​welcome: 6:30am at the BHS stadium
  • September 25Thursday (9/26): Girl's Tennis vs Oak Hills: 3:15pm at the BHS tennis courts
  • September 25Thursday (9/26): Volleyball vs Hesperia: 3:15pm at the BHS gym
  • September 25PSAT: The PSAT exam is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16. This exam is for juniors. Sophomores will have an opportunity to take the test in the spring. Juniors may sign-up at the Burroughs Online Store or in the Finance Office. The test costs $20 and space is limited.
  • September 25ASVAB: BHS is offering the ASVAB exam on October 2 at BHS . The ASVAB is required to join the US Military (all branches) and is a great tool to explore your strengths, weaknesses, and careers. Registration is taking place now through September 30th with Mrs. Rolfness in the counseling center. There is no cost.

Simrin is in her junior year and is excited to be a part of the Blockbuster for her third year. She is a student-athlete for the Burroughs varsity softball program and a member of Key Club, California Scholarship Federation Program, and National Honor Society, and she plays the Double Bass for her school’s Orchestra. She loves to volunteer for her local animal shelter and spend time with her family. Simrin is thrilled to serve as Editor-in-Chief this year and cannot wait to see what the year brings her and her fellow Burros!
