Both the Burros boy’s soccer Varsity team and JV team have been putting in a great effort and doing well. They have been able to maintain a solid performance throughout their season. Although they have faced some tough competition, they have managed to hold their ground and have shown strength while on the field.
With the team’s dedication and hard work, they will continue improving and achieving success in their upcoming games.
“Honestly, I feel like the games are gonna be a tough competition but we can get through it,” said freshman Sean Fisher.
“I feel like we are going to win both two home and away games,” said sophomore Christian Gilbert. “We will crush Hesperia next year.”
The Burros Varsity team is ranked 6th (9-9-3) and the Burros JV team is ranked 5th (4-9-4) in the league.
The Burros varsity team played well on Friday, only to fall short with 6 of their starters out with injuries and a loss of 7-1. The Burros JV team also played well, tying 0-0 aided by sophomore Goalkeeper Duke Leon-Wegner who made some spectacular saves.
Girls soccer is having a strong season, with Varsity tying their most recent game against Hesperia with a score of 1-1. This leaves their stats at 3-13-2.
The Girls JV team has been practicing as much as they can, growing as a team and forming strong relationships on and off the field.
Both teams are marching through the season, with their determination growing each game!
