While league is coming to an end for Burroughs Basketball, lets take a look at how the Burros are doing.
The Lady Burros have made exciting strides for the 2023-2024 season. Overall, they are 14-6 and 7-1 in league, sharing the number one spot with Oak Hills. The Lady Burros are now Mojave River League Co-Champions with Oak Hills.
“It’s bittersweet that the season is coming to an end,” said Captain Ariana Gutierrez, a senior. “I have high hopes heading into CIF, especially after our two big wins at home against Hesperia and Oak Hills.”
The Lady Burros are locked in and gearing up for CIF and are looking forward to making it as far as they can go.
On the men’s side, the Burros are overall 11-11 and 4-4 in league, ranking number three. The Burros are still fighting to make CIF. If they beat Serrano and Apple Valley this upcoming week, they will lock in for CIF.
