What is it like being independent?
I love being independent. I live with 5 other girls at the moment in an apartment, but it is so amazing to learn from them and also be able to talk about things that are bothering us. Living in Logan also has many benefits because of how close everything is to my apartment and the university.
What activities are you enjoying?
I love going to all of the season games, such as basketball and football. I also enjoy doing smaller hikes around Logan, the trees have changed color and the entire canyon is gorgeous right now.
What advice can you offer prospective college students?
Make friends with people in your class and where you are living. Being able to rely on someone no matter where you go is important. Also, massive game nights are a plus!
What is the best thing about your college or university?
SCHOOL SPIRIT! USU has the best student section and chants! The games are always packed full of students and it is an incredible environment to be in.
What has been the biggest surprise or adjustment?
The biggest adjustment is the weather. Living in northern Utah has proven to be cold and wet. It has only snowed really once and flurried a bit but nothing has stuck yet.
