“Remember, no man is a failure who has friends” — and no one can be bored when the BHS Drama Department has something on the schedule.
Coming up on Dec. 2 and 3, the Burroughs Company class is performing “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.”  As the title indicates, this version of the holiday classic has the Burroughs actors present the tale as a 1940s radio play, following George Bailey’s look at what life would have been like if he had never existed.
The story takes place over the holidays, making it a perfect fit for the winter season.
“The Multi-Purpose Room will be all dolled up for Christmas, and we are playing up the idea that it’s 1946, questioning the audience’s strange machines when they pull out cell phones,” said Drama Teacher Eileen Poole.
Performers include Ethan Walter, Ali Shakir, Citlali Tellez, Amelia McCollister, Kayla Walter, Briona Stewart,  Yleana Mower, Jazlynn Hollinquest, Kai Carson, Kyla Leroy, and Jessie Bell.
Both showings are in the Burroughs Cafeteria/Multi-Purpose Room.
The Dec. 2 showing is at 6 p.m.  The Dec 3 showing is at 2 p.m. Admission is $5.
