Attention all students! The 2023-2024 edition of the yearbook has something very special in store for everyone at BHS to enjoy. You can now upload your own photos to be in the yearbook with a program called Yearbook+.
The gist of how Yearbook+ works is simple. A digital extension of the school’s printed yearbook, Yearbook+ uses technology to let individuals submit their favorite pictures from the year through a quick scan of a QR code.
Students can submit photos in through two options, “My Year” and “School Life.”
With “My Year,” students can digitally attach up to 10 photos to their school photos to remember the fun times they had. When the finished printed version is available in the spring, students will be able to hover over the portraits of themselves and their friends and see any photos that have been uploading.
The second feature is “School Life.” With school life, the student body will be able to further memorialize spirit days, sports, and dances with this feature by uploading their own photos from these events. The El Burro yearbook team will also be linking pictures of spring events that wouldn’t otherwise be incorporated in the spreads, like graduation!
“Yearbook+ is going to help us reach our goal of creating an inclusive book,” said Yearbook Advisor Susie Burgess. “Through this exciting piece of technology, everybody will be able to see themselves in our book.”
To upload photos, scan the QR code that is posted around campus or visit ybkplus.com and enter your school email.
Yearbooks are on sale now for $85 through Dec. 16. For more information, contact [email protected].
