Come and watch the BHS Homecoming Football Game on Friday, October 13! The Burros will be taking on the Hesperia Scorpions in some exciting Friday Night Lights football, one of the highlights of homecoming week.
If you are not a big football fan, there are many more activities, such as the float parade, homecoming coronation, and more!
Despite the obstacles they have faced so far this season, having a record of 0-6, the Burroughs are hoping to bring home a victory for this year’s homecoming game and are determined to win at all costs.
“I honestly believe we play in one of the toughest leagues in Southern California,” said Head Coach Matthew Fulton. “Every week in the Mojave River League is a tough game.”
Many are optimistic that they will be able to turn their season around before it comes to a close later this month. The team continues to practice in preparation for each game.
“We are building a team that will compete in every single game we play.” said Head Coach Matthew Fulton. “We don’t count our past and we don’t measure success by wins and losses.”
With big goals in mind, the Burros will enter their homecoming game ready to persevere when all eyes are on them. While the competition is tough, we have no doubt that the team will succeed!
Come support our Burroughs Football team on October 13 at the football field. Coronation starts at 6 p.m. and kick-off starts at 7 p.m.
