On Thursday, September 21, the Burroughs Cross Country team ran at the MRL Cluster meet in Sultana. This was the team’s first league meet of the season. Burroughs athletes ran strong at the meet, with the JV Boys, Varsity Boys, and Varsity Girls teams coming in first place overall. The JV Girls team had enough girls to place for the first time since 2019, and came in second place.
