Burroughs welcomes new athletics and finance clerks
As students adjust to a return to school, Burroughs has welcomed new staff to help with the flurry of activity.
Athletics Assistant Kristin Wheeler is here to help students with athletic clearances, creating team rosters, and checking grades to form an eligibility report for coaches.
Working in the Activities Office with Athletics Director Michele Lazaro, Wheeler is excited to take on this role for the school year.
“I am looking forward to getting to know all the students and athletes,” said Wheeler. “It is so exciting to see them all on campus!”
If students need any assistance, the athletics office is located to the left of the library and near the gym.
Finance Clerk Morgan Dusing will be performing financial needs for the school, providing information to the school community, and managing sales for students, staff, parents, and vendors.
This year, she will specifically be able to assist students with purchasing ASB cards, parking permits, dance tickets, AP tests, PSAT tests, and creating cash boxes for sports and clubs.
“I want to learn as much as possible about my new position and make sure I can assist everyone with their needs and requests,” said Dusing. “I also want to get to know everyone I work with and everyone I come across!”
The Finance Office is located at the old Administration building, near the library as well.
Both Dusing and Wheeler are looking forward to helping the school, and students can reach out to them at [email protected] and [email protected], or at their offices.
