The Burroughs Burros did amazingly at their most recent match, the High Desert Classic. Our golf team placed 6th overall, but they beat everyone in our league. Only 4 of our players went, consisting of Team captain Shoemore Caleb Villicana, who scored a 76, Freshman Alan Chantler, who scored a 99, Junior Matt Firouzi, who scored a 91, and Darien Annos, who scored a 96.
“Great day for Burroghs Golf,” said Golf Coach Dave Sappington, “We finished 6th overall and Caleb Vilicanna finished 2nd with the lowest gross score.”
The Burros golf team will next attend will face Granite Hills on march 3rd.
